Description

Boost converter is used when you require to step up the DC voltage from a specified value to a higher value in DC voltage. Unlike AC voltage which you can control easily with a transformer, DC voltages are harder to control because you can’t use transformer to control it and it requires switching regulators to do so. This 150W 6A DC-DC Step-Up Boost Converter is used when you want to step up the DC voltage in the range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc to Output Voltage in the range of 12Vdc to 35Vdc with current rating of 6A. You can use it to boost your 12V power supply in car or from a lead acid battery to 18V or 24V to charge and power other electrical appliances. It has a potentiometer onboard to control the output of the module as output is always greater than the input voltage. Use it with caution as it has no Short Circuit or reverse polarity protection.
